Natural Design Swimming Holes are constructed with structural concrete, hand sculpted into rock formations, onsite.

Start with a design

These rock formations are then textured with a waterproof plaster coating and colored to simulate a variety of natural rock or stone.  This method is more labor intensive than most faux stone or real stone construction, but it has many structural and eye pleasing advantages.

First, it is not a veneer, but a single monolithic unit, allowing our elevated work (i.e. waterfalls) to become an effective retaining wall.  This translates to cost savings and design flexibility on hillsides.  Secondly, this rock formation approach is more visually appealing than stacking natural rock on top of each other to simulate a natural waterfall or natural pond.
